Quickpay has an excellent feature, which acts as a data checker to help ensure your data is correct and complete in each period.
The data checker (Validation Report) scans your payroll data and displays a detailed report about any detected errors and provides guidance on how to fix the errors. Follow the suggested resolutions to correct any outstanding errors and run the data checker again. When the data checker detects no errors, you are ready to move on.
Note: The data checker will highlight missing PPS numbers however it is possible to ignore this alert until the employee’s PPS number is available.
To use this validation option simply access the following menu options from within the Quickpay program:
- On the top menu bar, click on reports.
- Choose the validate payroll data option.
Both Micropay Professional and Quickpay have a Help Facility within the program. The help facility contains useful guidelines from setting up to using the program.
The help file is located on the top right-hand side of the main screen in both programs.
