Ensuring 2008 Payroll PRSI & PAYE rates are updated
It’s essential to ensure that your programme is up-to-date for the 2008 Budget.
To verify that your programme has the correct legislation, simply check the ‘Pay Run’ panel on the toolbar. If it has changed to ‘Pay Run (2008 Budget)’ then your programme is up-to-date.
It is not advisable to manually update the PRSI tables within the program. To update the budget the file needs to be run to apply changes correctly.

The Central Statistics Office (CSO) has introduced a new annual National Employment Survey (NES) report, which is designed to compile statistical employment information from businesses of more than three employees. If your business has been selected to participate in the survey, you must return the NES report to the CSO.
Sage Quickpay & Sage Micropay Professional record the information necessary for this report. A future release of Sage Quickpay/Sage Micropay Professional will enable you to generate the report automatically.
To avail of the CSO reporting in Sage Micropay Professional, ensure you download the new Service Pack Release Version 7.2.
