Advanced Report Writer Workshop
This half-day workshop enables you to make the
most of the Advanced Report Writer software which is provided
automatically to all Micropay Professional users as part of their
payroll install. Advanced Report Writer is a truly time saving and
beneficial reporting application. As part of the Sage
Micropay Professional installation you gain access to this
software. There are no extra or hidden software
charges. Get the confidence and knowledge to build and
design the payroll reports your business needs and demands using
the software you already have.
Who should attend?
Essential training for all those wishing to
supplement standard Micropay Professional reports with
custom-designed reports that will more effectively help their
company manage and report on payroll costs.
Preparation
Candidates should be comfortable using a
computer, mouse and keyboard. It is preferable, but not essential
that they have either attended the Micropay Professional Stage 1
course or are already familiar with the material covered on the
Stage 1 course. It would be useful to have a clear idea of your
reporting requirements and how these differ from the standard
reports supplied with the system.
Course contents include:
- gain an overview of creating new reports,
amending reports, selecting variables, sorting information/sort
priority, and formatting reports
- insert calculations into a report and change
the presentation of information
- improve presentation totals, and how reports
are formatted to give subtotals and grand totals
- create multiple sorts and summarise
reports
- discover how to export your customised report to Excel at the
touch of a button
