This course concentrates on the
advanced features and modules available in Micropay Professional
and how they can constructively assist in running your payroll.
By the end of this course you
will:
- Understand how to process Disability Benefit Cheques an
employee receives from the Department of Social & Family
Affairs while on sick leave
- Know how to average an employees pay and hours for holiday
purposes when managing part-time, casual and shift workers
- Understand the processing steps required to record Employee
Holidays, Company Holidays and Bonus Periods
- Know the benefits and working of the Holiday Tracking Feature
Pack which in line with the Organisation for Working Time Act
allows for simple processing of holiday pay. O.W.T.A.
- Understand how to create and setup basic Payment &
Deduction formulae and split the employee take home pay into
multiple bank accounts
- Be able to cost employees between a variety of department/cost
centres within the one period, using either percentage split or
multi timesheets
- Understand how easy it is to complete and report on a
Financial Year.
