Sage 50 Accounts - Stage 1
The Fundamentals
This course will give you an understanding of the day to day
operations of the program. It will allow you to utilise all
of the fundamental features of Sage 50. For example
processing payments and receipts and protecting your data are some
of the key topics covered.
You should attend this course if you are either the operator or
manager of the software. We recommend that you
familiarise yourself with and set-up the Sage 50 software.
You should also be familiar with basic business terms such as
invoice, VAT, double entry and so on. If you are not familiar
with them and/or the software, we recommend that you first attend
our Introduction to Bookkeeping course, followed by the Sage 50
Introduction and Set-up course

- Entering batch supplier invoices and credit notes
- Process supplier payments and print routines
- Enter customer invoices and credit notes
- Process customer receipts
- Post bank transactions
- Recurring
- Using the search facility
- Backup and check data
- Error corrections
- Unusal transactions
After this course you will be able to use Sage 50 software to
operate and manage core accounting functions for your
company. This will increase business efficiency and save you
valuable time.
